🟣 Creating a Module

What Are Modules?

Modules allow you to organize content for students. Pages, assignments, discussions, and quizzes can all be added to a module in order to provide a content connection and linear flow to your students' learning. Learn more about modules below.

How do you use Modules?

Modules can be used to:

  • house information for parents and students
  • provide a sequence of learning activities.
  • organize the subject content by unit, day, week, topic, etc.
  • track student progress.
  • create prerequisite activities that your students must complete before moving on to other subject material.

What do students see?

Students can only view modules and content that have been published and/or assigned to them.

Note: While in Classic View, it is possible for students to access content through the Pages, Assignments, Quizzes, and Discussions links in the Course Navigation Menu, in Elementary View, all content must be added to a published Module in order for students to access it.
