Using a graded survey students can provide information and self assess their knowledge of a standard/topic before and after instruction.  As a survey, there are no wrong or right answers.  By selecting the Graded Survey option, teachers can set a point value to encourage completion of the task by students.   Canvas will assign points for the activity once students submit an answer.
