Instructions

Before beginning, make sure you completed #000 Signup: Learn-Biology (<5 min). You will use that log-in information to cement your understanding of the 'big ideas' of AP Biology at the website.

Learn Biology 4 Big Ideas (Don't Forget! Log in when the flashcards say to.) Links to an external site.

On the linked page, there are 4 sections. 

  1. Read Section 1.
  2. Choose whether you wish to Watch the Video (Section 2), Read the Transcript (Section 3 a-d), or both. Make a note of what option you took in the below text box.
    If you do choose to do so, feel free to take notes. You can take a photo or digital notes and add them in the text entry to this page if you find that useful; this way you have given me evidence of that type of additional practice, and you won't ever lose it.
  3. Complete Section 4 Flashcards and Quiz.

Grading Policy

  • You will earn Complete for your Qwizcards showing done on my dashboard for having reviewed 13 flashcards on the first set, and the 15 questions from the second set. You must be logged in.
  • You can show additional practice by taking and submitting notes, but if you do not find that note-taking works for you, do not spend time doing so. Your Jamboard and Discussion from #005.1 are meant to accomplish the goal of having an artifact/processing through writing. This assignment is meant to ensure content and recall.
  • Your textbox for this Submitted Assignment must show whether you watched, read, or both.
